Jane's Addiction 7-2-10 The Roxy

It's not every day my favorite band plays the Roxy. Jane's Addiction tore the roof off! I was so mesmerized that I couldn't take many photos. See?!?! Some things ARE shocking! ;) I took 3 vids and a few photos. But mostly enjoyed the show, sung every word and danced with my friends. All of us with wings! VIVA JUANA'S ADICCIÓN!

The Venice Beach Freakshow warmed the crowd up...photos HERE.

Miss Crash, further warming things up:

I've never seen anything like what happened next, Miss Crash and Jane Jett (you can follow them on twitter: (@misscrash, @janejett) were suspended by their skin and began to swing over the audience as the curtain went down to Jane's ripping through Whores. Visually stunning!

Smashing Pumpkins 6-30-10 Viper Room Weho, CA

Smashing Pumkpins played to a packed crowd at the Viper Room on Wednesday June 30, 2010. The last time Billy played here in the late 90's, I was stuck outside on the sidewalk trying to get in. This time, I had a ticket! Ah, redemption! Here are a few photos, the setlist (last two songs not played) and a link to more.

Gogol Bordello 6-22-10 Mayan Theater Los Angeles, CA

Gogol Bordello at the Mayan Theater in Los Angeles, CA. 6-22-10

I got my accordion on last night, which rarely happens these days! But this was anything but my grandparents' gammal dans musik! I first saw Gogol Bordello at Lollapalooza a few years back and they had an instant fan. They are so much fun to watch and their music is infectious- I can't stop dancing! I wasn't alone...the crowd was full of happy, dancing, pogoing people! Here are a few shots from the balcony:

Ozzy Osbourne 6-20-10

Ozzy Osbourne's new CD, Scream, comes out on June 22, 2010. In celebration, he had a CD signing at Amoeba Records on Sunday June 19th. Not only did the first 600 people get to hear the CD early, we got a ticket to see him perform at the House of Blues last night! THANK YOU OZZY! I love the CD- go buy it!

Electro Concerto Neo Sapiens, Pete, Carl & Bernd. 6-4-10

Peter Distefano, Carl Distefano and Bernd Burgdorf performed at the Electro Concerto held at Area 33 in Culver City on Friday/Saturday AM, June 4. The space was amazing! I tried to capture what it felt like there. The crowd was really into their set. The video didn't turn out well because it was way too dark...but I did get a few snippets that I put together (embedded below) Here are my fave pics...you can see the rest on my website:
